Gustavo Ramirez scores fastest goal in Mexican soccer history
The Paraguayan striker scored four seconds into a match.
In a Liga MX match Friday, Paraguayan striker Gustavo Ramirez opened the scoring for his side, Mineros de Zacatecas.
That, in and of itself, is unspectacular. But Ramirez did so just four seconds into a match, which marks the fastest goal in Mexican professional soccer history.
As you can see, there's little trickery. Ramirez takes the pass from the kickoff and blasts a shot from just inside midfield. Good start for his squad, eh?
