Italian club signs new player, forgets to pick him up from airport
I'm sure Bologna is happy to have Ibson, but things have gotten off on the wrong foot.
It's safe to say that Italian Serie A soccer club Bologna has not yet perfected the airport pickup.
According to Metro, Brazilian midfielder Ibson signed with Bologna after leaving Corinthians, but when he arrived at the airport to join his new squad no one was there to meet him.
So he took a cab to his new home, instead.
The paper is reporting that four executives have since been suspended for the mistake.
