Although it was just a friendly, Neymar proved he hadn’t lost an ounce of his signature Brazilian flair, scoring twice and assisting on another goal in Barcelona’s final preseason exhibtion against Mexican side Leon on Monday.

It was Neymar’s first game back since fracturing a vertebra in the World Cup quarterfinals against Colombia.

First he lofted a beautiful chip over the charging keeper and then knocked in an unnecessary (but crafty, nonetheless) backheel to extend Barca’s lead just before halftime.

.. And that flick to prove he's still got it...

It wasn’t just Neymar, though, whose return made headlines. Luis Suarez, he of the four-month biting suspension, was allowed to take the pitch on Monday given that FIFA recently tweaked his punishment to allow him to participate in friendlies. Suarez, who tallied 30 goals for Liverpool last season, is expected to make his official Barcelona debut on Oct. 26 alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi.

The fans, notably, applauded his debut.
