Sportscaster's spot honors Robin Williams with 22 movie references
Zach Klein, the sports director for WSB-TV in Atlanta, paid a wonderful tribute to Robin Williams.
Robin Williams’s brilliant career occasionally crept into the sports arena, be it when he dressed up as a Broncos cheerleader, opined on the origins of golf (NSFW but very worth watching), or spurned the Sawx to “go see about a girl.”
So naturally, Zach Klein, the sports director at WSB-TV in Atlanta, honored Williams by dropping 22 movie references throughout Tuesday night's sports segment.
Some work better than others, but the effort was superb.
“Honestly, I just wanted to do something to show my appreciation for the greatness that was Robin Williams,” Klein said. “It was a hard day for so many and I thought a subtle tribute to a man many loved and admired was the least I could do.”
