SEATTLE (AP) -Eddie Johnson scored just five minutes into the game for his team-leading 10th goal of the season as the Seattle Sounders beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 4-0 in Major League Soccer on Sunday night.
Fredy Montero, Alex Caskey and Andy Rose scored in the second half as Seattle won its second straight game and extended its unbeaten streak to four games before an MLS season-high crowd of 60,908.
The Galaxy had a two-game winning streak and five-game unbeaten streak ended.
In the day's other match, Jack Jewsbury scored from a volley in the 71st minute to lift the Portland Timbers into a 1-1 draw with Dallas to end a five game losing streak.
Scott Sealy scored for Dallas off a cross from Brek Shea in the 51st minute of the matchup between the bottom two teams in the Western Conference.
