Nyarko, Paladini score early as Fire beat Dynamo


BRIDGEVIEW, Illinois (AP) -Patrick Nyarko scored in the opening minute and Daniel Paladini found the net in the 19th to lead the Chicago Fire to a 3-1 victory against the Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

Alex scored in second-half stoppage time to seal the win as the Fire moved two points ahead of the Dynamo for third place in the Eastern Conference.

Brian Ching scored in the final minute of regulation time for Houston.

In Frisco, Texas, Jackson' scored in the 32nd minute and Kevin Hartman made two key saves to give FC Dallas a draw 1-1 draw with Seattle.

Mauro Rosales scored in the 20th minute for Seattle, which edged past Los Angeles into third place in the West.

Defender Ramiro Corrales scored his first two goals of the season, both off free kicks in the second half, to lead the San Jose Earthquakes over Chivas USA 4-0.

Victor Bernardez scored off a free kick early in the game, and midfielder Simon Dawkins added a goal from close range late in the first half for San Jose. The Earthquakes moved back into sole possession of the MLS lead with 53 points - three ahead of Sporting Kansas City.
