BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -Valencia beat visiting Zaragoza 2-0 on Saturday in the Spanish league, giving Mauricio Pellegrino's team a much-needed second win after six rounds of play.
Forward Sofiane Feghouli fired in his own rebound after Jonas had set him up by tapping on a cross 12 minutes in. Jonathan Viera then finished off a nice team buildup in the 59th to seal the victory at Mestalla stadium.
Valencia played a man down from the 61st after Feghouli received his second booking, but Zaragoza failed to capitalize on the advantage.
League pacesetter Barcelona visits Sevilla later with an eight-point lead over Real Madrid, which hosts Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.
Also on Saturday, Real Betis is at Malaga, and Real Sociedad plays Athletic Bilbao in a Basque Country derby.
