BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -Valladolid thrashed visiting Rayo Vallecano 6-1 with doubles by Oscar Gonzalez and Manucho on Sunday, breaking a two-game losing run in the Spanish league.
Rayo went ahead thanks to Alejandro "Chori" Dominguez's fifth-minute opener, but promoted Valladolid soon went to work picking apart its three-man defensive line.
Oscar started the hosts' comeback in the 10th by heading on a goal kick for Alberto Bueno to score.
Three minutes later, Manucho passed to Oscar out wide, and he sent a cross back in for the Angola striker to head home.
Oscar received Manucho's pass and chipped goalkeeper Ruben Martinez in the 22nd, before Antonio Rukavina made it 4-1 in the 37th. Manucho then set up again Oscar in the 56th and capped the victory himself in the 86th.
"My team played intelligently. It knew how to interpret the game," said Valladolid coach Miroslav Djukic, who watched the match from the stands as he is serving a suspension for complaining about the referee last round.
"We avoided making mistakes and were very efficient in attack, combining well and entering from the flanks."
Also, Granada beat Celta Vigo 2-1 for its first win this season.
Later, Real Madrid hosts Deportivo La Coruna, Atletico Madrid visits Espanyol and Levante is at Osasuna.
On Saturday, it was: Sevilla 2, Barcelona 3; Valencia 2, Zaragoza 0; Malaga 4, Real Betis 0; and Real Sociedad 2, Athletic Bilbao 0.
