ROME (AP) -Cagliari beat Bologna 1-0 in the Serie A lunchtime fixture Sunday to move out of the relegation zone.
Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan scored on the hour mark by finishing off a counterattack with a shot from the edge of the area.
The best visiting Bologna could produce was a shot off the post from Alberto Gilardino in the first half and a dangerous effort from Alessandro Diamanti in the 78th that Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi stopped with a reflex save.
Cagliari has eight points in the middle of the table, one ahead of Bologna.
Later, Inter Milan was hosting Catania hoping to rejoin Lazio in third place. Juventus beat Napoli 2-0 Saturday to move three points clear of its southern rival at the top of the table.
