LISBON, Portugal (AP) -Nacional came from behind to win 3-1 at Guimaraes, rising from the bottom of the Portuguese league up to 11th place with its second victory of the season on Saturday.
Guimaraes went ahead in the 13th minute through Joao Ribeiro's penalty kick.
Diego Barcelos leveled for the visitors in the 54th. Mateus then grabbed Nacional the lead six minutes later, scoring from a pass by Mario Rondon, before Ladji Keita put the result beyond doubt in the 66th.
Nacional finished with 10 men after Joao "Moreno" Teixeira received his second booking two minutes from time.
Joint leaders FC Porto and Benfica both play on Sunday, with the defending champions Porto hosting Academica while Benfica visits Rio Ave.
Also, slumping Sporting Lisbon hosts third-place Braga.
