PRAGUE (AP) -The Czech football federation says it is investigating alleged match-fixing after a referee said he was asked to rig a first division match last season.
The federation says its disciplinary committee will deal with the case, which focuses on Baumit Jablonec's home game against Viktoria Plzen on March 17 - a 2-0 win for Plzen.
It says the move "was prompted by a confession by referee Tomas Adamek that was verified by a notary in which he admits that he was asked ... to fix a match."
Plzen denied any wrongdoing on Thursday.
Adamek, another referee and a man accused of offering the bribe have been summoned to come before the disciplinary committee on Tuesday.
Thursday's announcement came 10 days after the federation asked police to investigate the case.
