Jason Campbell agrees to two-year deal with Browns

Jason Campbell has agreed to a two-year deal with the Browns, according to league sources. He will battle Brandon Weeden for the starting job and the new regime in Cleveland is not committed to Weeden, a first-round pick last year, as the starter.

Campbell has started in Washington and Oakland and backed up Jay Cutler in Chicago last year.

Campbell is a former first-round pick who has the size and big arm to play in the elements and wind in Cleveland. Browns president Joe Banner saw Campbell many times when both were in the NFC East.
