Documentary planned for Jack Nicklaus' 1962 U.S. Open win

By Shane Bacon | Blogger

Well this looks cool. NBC is planning a documentary before the final round of the 2012 U.S. Open that will take a look back at the 1962 U.S. Open where Jack Nicklaus defeated Arnold Palmer in an 18-hole playoff after both were the only players to finish under par at Oakmont.

The documentary will air on Father's Day, and if you're a golf fan, it's a must watch. Above is a trailer for the show, but it definitely looks like it'll be a cool look back at one of the most famous playoffs in the history of the U.S. Open.
