Video: Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia play golf in the River Thames

By Shane Bacon | Blogger

To say that TaylorMade/adidas have a little fun with their pro golfers could be the understatement of the year. Right before the U.S. Open, long-hitting Dustin Johnson was seen pounding balls out of the AT&T Park in San Francisco, and on Monday in London, Johnson was joined by Sergio Garcia for one of the toughest par-3s in golf.

Move over Coeur d'Alene, there is a new floating golf green in the world, and it has one of the coolest backdrops in sports. Yep, Sergio and Dustin hit golf shots at a floating golf green in the River Thames on Monday, with each shot hitting the green scoring £1,200 for the The Foundation of International Inspiration.

Sergio and Dustin both hit the green three times, while TaylorMade/adidas CEO Mark King hit it twice (nice work, Mark!), and the push for golf in the Olympics officially begun.

Honestly, how much fun must it be right now to be a TaylorMade/adidas athlete? Finish the British Open, head down to London to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime event. Hey, and red golf balls!
