The Saturday foursome pairings are out for the 2012 Ryder Cup and the obvious omission is Tiger Woods, who has never sat out a match in his entire career at this event. Davis Love III went without Tiger for Saturday morning, so who is playing? We take a look, with the first match going at 8:20 AM ET.
Match #1 -- Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson vs. Justin Rose and Ian Poulter -- A clash of titans in the first match of the day, the Americans were hot in the afternoon while these two Europeans took care of business in the morning. The format will be different for the Americans, but if they can get anything going like they did in fourball, this one should be great. I give a slight edge to the Europeans here mainly because they already got a crack at this format and Poulter is an absolute beast at alternate shot.

Match #2 -- Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson vs. Lee Westwood and Luke Donald -- That would be four Englishman to start for Jose Maria Olazabal, and hopefully Westwood's partner from Friday afternoon rubbed off a little on him and he can find some form paired with Donald. You obviously know the story about Bradley and Mickelson, who went 2-0-0 on Friday. I like the Americans to extend their winning streak here.
Match #3 -- Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson vs. Nicolas Colsaerts and Sergio Garcia -- Love is obviously going with what worked early on Friday, pairing Johnson and Dufner together again to be the silent assassins for this American team. I had a feeling if Colsaerts didn't get another crack with Westwood he'd probably go with Garcia, who can bring some firepower and won't have as many nerves going as he did in the opening sessions on Friday. I think this one goes down to the 18th, with both teams earning half a point.
Match #4 -- Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker vs. Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell -- Hey, we meet again! This is the same foursome pairing that went out in the first match on Friday, with the Europeans taking down the Americans 1-up. The Americans will need to get off to a better start and this European team will need to play better at the end, but I think the Northern Irishmen steal the point here.
Score -- USA 5, Europe 3
Americans sitting out -- Tiger Woods, Steve Stricker, Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar
Europeans sitting out -- Martin Kaymer, Paul Lawrie, Peter Hanson, Francesco Molinari
