Tiger Woods made a plethora of birdies on Friday, but he cancelled those out with two bogeys and a double bogey and barely held his head above the weekend cut line.

Woods finished the round and the day at even par, which was the cutline going into the Saturday and Sunday rounds. He will tee off at 8:15 a.m. ET on Saturday.

He made a sweet sand save on No. 17, then hit his drive in the bunker on No. 18 but got out and made par to likely save himself from joining Rory McIlroy for another weekend match at the Medalist Club (Woods' home course) after McIlroy withdrew earlier Friday.

Woods actually found himself in a similar position at the Honda Classic last year, when he trailed Tom Gillis and Justin Rose by seven strokes after two rounds.

In that scenario, he shot a 69-62 in the weekend rounds to finish second. He'll need an even better back-to-back performance this weekend. He's nine back of this year's leader, Luke Guthrie.

Here is Woods's colorful scorecard:

And here's video of one of the aforementioned birdies.

And if you missed it, here's Serena Williams getting busted for trying to take a photo of Tiger during his round on Friday.
