Adidas Adizero golf shoes seem to get lighter over time

First, a confession: I haven't always been a big Adidas fan. From the Zubaz madness to those crazy Kobe Bryant shoes that made me feel like I was going to turn my ankle every time I drove to the hoop, I've just never really been all in on the three stripes.

Which is why you should listen when I say the Adizero golf shoe is one of the best shoes I've ever worn -- golfing, or otherwise.

Let's check out why I like them so much.

Features

These shoes are beyond light. Every time I put them on I can't believe how light they feel. Adidas even has a portion of its site devoted to comparing them to other household items (lighter than a coffee cup!).

Everybody seems to claim "we have the lightest shoe" or "ours weigh less," but at 10.6 ounces it's going to be hard for any company to beat what Adidas is doing here.

I'm personally grateful too because I usually walk when I play a round, so the extra weight off my feet (literally) is helpful for keeping my game fresh and my body upright.

What I loved

In addition to the weight -- which is definitely the lead feature -- I love the style of these shoes as well. I'm not big into the crazy-LeBron-style shoe fad, so to me this simple two-tone design with the black stripes and gray bottom is perfect.

They grip greens really well too. You would think with a shoe this light, the soles would be cheap and slippery, but they're pretty much the opposite of that. I feel like I'm on a solid foundation when putting, and yet they're agile enough to handle the torque I put on my fairway shots and drives.

If you can't tell, I'm all in on the Adizero shoes. The more I play with them, the more I enjoy them. They, illogically, seem to get lighter every time.
