If you had "Tiger Woods' old caddie will win another major after being fired before Tiger Woods wins another major" in your office pool, congratulations, and please collect your prize!

Adam Scott's caddie, Steve Williams, looped for a major champion for the 14th time in his career on Sunday.

Williams was famously on the bag for 13 majors and three Masters wins for Woods (not the 1997 Masters victory) before infamously being fired by Woods and now helping Scott to his first.

It was mentioned many times during the playoff, but for Scott to have Williams on his bag in the playoff was huge. Angel Cabrera had been there before. He mentally had an advantage in already having won the Masters.

Maybe he shouldn't have fired him to begin with.
