Time flies, doesn't it?

The Players Championship this weekend will mark the 300th PGA Tour event for Tiger Woods. It seems like just the other day we were watching the 21-year-old version of him fist pump his way to green jacket No. 1 in 1997.

While he may not yet stand at the other end of that moment in the spectrum of his career, we undoubtedly find ourselves watching a Tiger who's slowed down considerably from one of the most historic and successful careers in sports history.

According to statistician Justin Ray of ESPN, Woods has eight more wins on the PGA Tour through 299 starts than anyone else has through 300. Woods, as you know, captured the 77th win of his career at Bay Hill in March. Sam Snead, who Woods trails in total victories by five, had 69 wins in his first 300 starts, according to Ray.

In a career filled with mind-blowing numbers and stats we've never seen before, this is just one more in a great list.

A list Woods has a chance to add to this weekend in Jacksonville where he hasn't won since 2001.
