The venerable Steve Elkington felt it his business to weigh in on the Bubba Watson-caddie feud that emerged on Sunday afternoon.

He did so in a big way, too:

Elkington is no stranger to controversy throughout his career. That extends to a feud with, you guessed it, Watson at the Zurich Classic in 2009.

Here's a look at the incident:

Watson, to his credit, told New Orleans' Times-Picayune in 2012 that he grew from the incident:

"You know, I'm not like Charles Barkley,” Watson said. “I'd love to be a role model. I made a mistake. And my mistake was I got angry today. Hopefully, I learn from it and move on."

From reading that article, you might have even thought Watson and Elkington were coming around.

I'm guessing that's no longer the case.
