Johnson Wagner was not thrilled with how the Greenbrier Classic played out Sunday night. He told Golf Channel he was "furious" after posting three bogeys in his last eight holes to finish tied for second, two strokes behind Jonas Blixt.

Some context: There was a three-hour weather delay on Sunday afternoon which pushed Wagner's tee time from 2 p.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET. Nobody wanted to play the tournament out on Monday so they hurried to get it in before dark.

By the time Johnson, playing in the last group, finished it was really hard to see on the course. One writer even joked it was a good thing Blixt wore bright yellow so people could see him in the dark during the trophy presentation.

If you're Wagner, you can't really blame your stumble on the darkness (Blixt was playing in it, too, for the most part) and he wasn't (Johnson clarified later that he was "furious" about his own play, not the darkness) but I understand what he's saying in that he doesn't want one more thing to worry about when trying to get his fourth PGA Tour win.

He went on to say: "We should have played threesomes early this morning. Not that that would have made any difference with my round, but the last few holes I felt like we were just trying to finish."

That's totally fair and, as we saw last week at the AT&T National, not out of the realm of possibility -- that tournament was over by 3 p.m. ET because of the threat of weather.

These guys shouldn't have to battle each other and Mother Nature when trying to win tournaments. Though, as Jason Sobel pointed out, we kind of, almost, sort of solved the slow play issue:
