Jim Furyk fired a third-round 68 and assumed the outright lead which makes him the slight favorite over Jason Dufner. Furyk led the 2003 US Open by three strokes after 54 holes and won by three over Stephen Leaney (I have no idea).

He's got a host of world-class golfers on his tail though and I think that's reflected in the post-third round odds. Here's a look:

Jim Furyk: 11-4
Jason Dufner: 3-1

Other favorites

Henrik Stenson: 7-2
Adam Scott: 7-1
Steve Stricker: 12-1
Jonas Blixt: 14-1

Fringe favorites

Rory McIlroy: 20-1
Lee Westwood: 20-1

Everybody else

Dustin Johnson: 66-1
Matt Juchar: 100-1
Kevin Streelman: 125-1
Zach Johnson: 150-1
Webb Simpson: 150-1

Some pretty intresting groupings here as you don't have anybody between the McIlroy/Westwood 20-1 odds and Johnson at 66-1. I think Johnson is worth at least taking a flyer on at 66-1. What if he goes out and shoots a 64 to back up his 65 from Saturday?

I also like McIlroy at 20-1. He's swinging it so well right now. Smart money is probably on Stenson at 7-2 or Scott at 7-1. There are no odds on Tiger Woods winning by Bovada because stealing is illegal.
