This is great, this is the kind of stuff I would do if I was a rich professional golfer.

According to this report by Brian Wacker of, Justin Rose and Adam Scott made a bet when they were in their early 20s that whoever won his first major would fund a victory party which each would then attend.

That party took place last weekend at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas. Here's a photo of the place from its website:

Pretty nice digs.

The problem (if you can call it that) is that Scott and Rose both won majors within two months of each other. Technically Scott's came first but they were close enough that the debate needed to be clarified by each man.

"When we made that bet, the check wasn't quite as big," joked Scott in a recent interview with PGATOUR.COM. But I think he's on the hook for it, too, and I guess I'm on the hook for it."

"The bet that was a young, childish bet we made when we were about 21 years old. I think Scotty should be on the hook for that."
