On a day when Tiger Woods' young daughter Sam was watching him at the Deutsche Bank Championship, she likely didn't like what she saw.

Woods shot a 1-over 72 in extremely easy conditions at TPC Boston. Rain early in the day softened the greens and even allowed for a lift, clean & place rule to be in effect for the entire day.

Woods couldn't get any traction though as he made only four bogeys to three birdies and couldn't overcome a day of poor putting that resulted in 31 strokes on the greens.

Here's a look at his scorecard:

Woods has fallen too far back of the leaders to be a serious threat on Sunday but he will likely still lead the FedEx Cup race when they tee it back up at the BMW Championship in two weeks.

Though Woods is still the favorite to win the Cup he's definitely opening the door for Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, or Jason Dufner (maybe?) to win player of the year.

If Woods finishes the year with a whimper and no wins in his last, say, five outings and Scott wins the Tour Championship I think Scott takes it.

Tiger seemed disinterested at time on Sunday, too. As if he was saying "this isn't a major, when the heck is the next major?!"

That's a fine attitude -- I don't love the FedEx Cup Playoffs either -- but it doesn't make for spellbinding TV.

Something tells me Tiger doesn't really care about that either.
