The final tournament of the PGA Tour season is finally on deck and you aren't going to believe who the favorite is. I mean it this time, you really won't believe who the odds-on betting favorite is to win in East Lake this week.

Oh, actually you probably will.

It's Tiger Woods at 5-1.

Here are the rest of the odds for golfers at the year's final tournament:

Favorite

Tiger Woods: 5-1

Other favorites

Adam Scott: 12-1
Phil Mickelson: 14-1
Henrik Stenson: 16-1
Justin Rose: 16-1

Fringe favorites

Luke Donald: 18-1
Jim Furyk: 18-1
Zach Johnson: 18-1
Hunter Mahan: 20-1
Matt Kuchar: 20-1
Jason Day: 20-1
Brandt Snedeker: 20-1
Steve Stricker: 20-1

In the mix

Sergio Garcia: 25-1
Jason Dufner: 25-1
Keegan Bradley: 28-1
Charl Schwartzel: 28-1
Jordan Spieth: 28-1
Nick Watney: 33-1
Bill Haas: 33-1

The reason so many golfers have such low odds is that there are only 30 golfers playing in the tournament.

The worst odds are Brendon De Jonge (80-1), Boo Weekley (125-1), and DA Points (150-1). Those guys have little chance of winning because of how many golfers at the top of the heap have to finish low. For example: if Brendon De Jonge wins he has to have Tiger, Brandt Snedeker, and Phil Mickelson finish near the bottom -- among other scenarios that have to take place.

The whole thing is a bit complicated but I really like Zach Johnson at 18-1. He's currently in fourth place and coming off a big win at the BMW Championship. He's the only golfer in the top five with odds that low. I also like Stricker at 20-1.
