Winner: US (-350) -- There's just nothing here that tells me the International Team can hang around. Seven of their 12 golfers are first-time competitors in the Presidents Cup, which is the most by any of the 20 teams that have competed.
The -350 money line isn't good value but neither is this International Team. Give me the Americans by at least four points.
I don't even care about his year though. I only care that he turns into an unhinged monster in match play events and likely everyone on the International team is terrified to go within 50 yards of him. He and Phil Mickelson should be must-see TV once again this year.
Interesting bet: Tie (+1400)-- It's happened before (in 2003) and at +1400 it seems like a value pick. The US is by far the better side but crazy stuff happens in match play team events. I don't think it will happen (see pick above) but it's a fun little wager to take a flyer on.
