Jim O'Brien of Leicestershire made a hole-in-one at Surrey's Hindhead Golf Club in the United Kingdom on Wednesday.
Jim O'Brien is blind.
He's been this way since birth and his ace is thought to be only the third by a completely blind golfer the history of the England and Wales Blind Golf Association which O'Brien is a part of.
In fact, the tournament O'Brien was playing in was being held by this very association.
He told BBC he was beyond elated to have achieved the feat.
"It's every golfer's dream, to do a hole-in-one especially if you're totally blind."
O'Brien and the other blind golfers were helped by caddies who were helping out with the event. O'Brien noted they were the ones who actually got to see his ball roll in the cup.
"When I teed off, I hit the ball nicely. The only thought I had in my head was, 'Let's hope it makes the green'. After a few seconds, the guys I was with said 'It's in the hole'. It was a great feeling - it's unbelievable."
It really is kind of unbelievable.
