According to Eric Fisher of Sports Business Journal EA sports will no longer use Tiger Woods' name on its golf video game.

This is a pretty interesting time for EA to drop Woods. You would think they would have done it when his stock was down a few years ago.

One would also think that with the end of EA's relationship with the NCAA they would beef up the other games they have.

I'm also intrigued that EA is still going to produce a golf game. Are they going to use Rory McIlroy as their headliner? Keegan Bradley? Anthony Kim?

I'm sure more news will come out as this story develops but quite an eventful October so far for Mr. Woods.
