If there's one thing I've learned over the past year of covering the PGA Tour it's that professional golfers love their football, both college and the NFL.

Brandt Snedeker is no different as he sent out this tweet on Wednesday lobbying for Vanderbilt coach James Franklin to stay at Snedeker's alma mater in Nashville:

That's a pretty good deal if you're the Vanderbilt head coach -- I could think of a lot worse people to be taking lessons from for the rest of my life.

Franklin is reportedly being courted by various college and NFL teams including Penn State and possibly the Washington Redskins.
