You might not know the name Jimmy Walker but it's one you should probably get familiar with.

Walker is currently No. 2 in the FedEx Cup points race (behind Webb Simpson) and he's one of Butch Harmon's newest pupils.

Alan Shipnuck detailed for Golf.com about how the sometimes-tenuous relationship between Walker and Harmon ended with Harmon inviting Walker into his stable of golfers full-time.

Walker had been texting back and forth with Harmon about his swing in 2012. Harmon was also helping him at various tournaments and Walker asked him what he owed him for the help.

Harmon told him it was gratis and Walker was stunned.

Shipnuck tells how the rest of the story happened:

"So when Walker returned home to San Antonio, he dug around in his wine cellar and found the perfect thank-you gift, which he'd been sitting on for three years: a bottle of 2000 Chateau Margaux, a Bordeaux that sells for up to $1,200. Little wonder that at the end of the year Harmon asked Walker if he'd like to join his stable and work together full-time."

Walker went on to win at the end of 2013 for the first time in his career so clearly the relationship is payind dividends for both parties.
