This sounds a little big hokey but it's actually pretty cool.

The Phoenix Open usues 140,000 golf balls to build its floating logo on the 18th hole. The tournament is sponsored by Waste Management and last year all the golf balls were donated to the Junior Golf Association of Arizona.

Arizona Foothill Magazine has some cool pictures of the construction of the logo here.
