It's just not happening for Tiger Woods in Dubai this week.

He shot a 70 in the third round on Saturday that left him 11 back of leader Stephen Gallacher with just 18 holes to play.

On a day when 23 golfers broke 70, Woods was not one of them.

"I wasted a lot of opportunities out there today," he said to Golf Channel.

"Today was an easy day for me to get to 10 (under). I only hit a couple bad shots and missed a ton of putts. But I really hit it good. Just threw away a lot of shots."

His final hole on Saturday was the epitome of that.

Wood, who is currently 19th in the field in putts per round, reached the par five in two and had 25 feet for eagle. He three-putted for par and went to the clubhouse with that 1-under 70.

Still, Woods seemed affable after his round which makes you wonder just how much he actually still cares about non-majors, especially ones that don't count towards his march towards 82 PGA Tour victories.

Woods told Bob Harig of ESPN he's still not concerned about his game. He's feeling some stuff out and trying to find a groove.

"My grip got a little off. It's something that's very simple. A really easy fix," he said. "It's one of my old habits. I tend to get back into that old pattern."

"I'm pleased because it's progressing, slowly," Woods said. "Unfortunately I'd like to have it come a little quicker but I'm going to have some up and downs. I'm going to have some bumps in the road."

Woods will play with Pablo Larrazabal on Sunday at 12:53 ET. The pair is tied for 37th place.
