It's back to California for the PGA Tour this week.

Here's a little Q&A on what to expect from this week's Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

What is it?

The penultimate tournament in California on the PGA Tour's west coast swing. The most famous pro-am in the world of golf and the "CEO Masters" as was depicted in this Golf.com piece.

Where is it?

Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach, Calif.

And Tiger, will he be there?

Tiger Woods is jetsetting the Middle East and India collecting paychecks. He likely won't play again until the Honda Classic at the end of February.

When is it?

Feb. 6-9.

What is the purse?

$6.6 million

Who's playing?

Phil Mickelson, Brandt Snedeker, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Hunter Mahan, Graeme McDowell, and Jim Furyk.

No, I mean the celebrities

Oh ... in that case we have Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andy Roddick, Kid Rock, Kurt Russell, Condoleezza Rice, James Blake, Jeb Bush, Wayne Gretzky, and Kelly Slater.

Who are the former champions?

2013 -- Brandt Snedeker
2012 -- Phil Mickelson
2011 -- DA Points
2010 -- Dustin Johnson
2009 -- Dustin Johnson

So who are you picking?

Winner

Jason Day (12-1) -- I'm just not comfortable living in a world where he only has one PGA Tour win. He finished sixth here last year and had a T2 his last time out at Torrey Pines.

He also has top 15s in his last seven starts worldwide. He's headed in the right direction, just needs to close. Plus, unlike the other favorite (Dustin Johnson), he's not playing with his future father-in-law (Wayne Gretzky).

Lock for top 10

Jimmy Walker (22-1) -- The only $2 million man on tour so far this season and his last three appearances at Pebble have been electric. T3-T9-T9 is how he's gone out in this tournament in the last three seasons. It's not a super strong field and Walker should shine.

Sleeper

Will MacKenzie (80-1) -- I love these 80-1 sleepers. MacKenzie hasn't played this tournament the last three years (finished T35 in 2010) but he's coming off three top 15s in his last four tournaments. Not a sexy name but he's been as hot as anybody of late.
