Tiger Woods was in good spirits on Wednesday at Doral in front of the Cadillac Championship. The questions were acute and he answered all of them.
He said his balky back is good to go and that he had no clue where his shots were headed last Sunday during the final round of the Honda Classic.
Then he talked about how difficult it was to explain to his dughter Sam why he didn't finish his round and instead, walked off the course with her.
"Explaining to your six-year-old daughter why you quit is certainly an interesting concept and topic," said Woods.
He also joked that he reiterated to her that he's actually a tough guy and won the 2008 US Open on a broken leg.
"I was telling Sam 'hey, daddy can handle pain' but I just couldn't move out there. It got to a point where I couldn't twist."
No comment from Sam yet on the state of her daddy's game.
