Ian Poulter took to Twitter on Friday after his round with Hideki Matsuyama to discuss the incident above during the second round at the Cadillac Championship.

Something Poulter called Matsuyama "burying his putter in the green" which, I must admit, is a pretty liberal use of the term "burying."

So that's exciting. Matsuyama went over to apologize on the range Saturday morning before their third round together.

Poulter's response was apparently terse.

It's pretty crazy to me that Ian Poulter is overreacting to something on social media. I've never known him to do anything like that. Hope they enjoy their third straight day of playing golf together!
