It seems like Tiger's putter used to come and go over weeks and months instead of round to round like it does now.

He finished with his worst strokes gained putting day of the week for him at -1.88 after cleaning up with eight birdies in round two.

Woods followed up his third-round 66 with a final-round 78 which tops his first-round 76 as his worst round ever at Doral.

His worst round EVER at Doral!

And worse than that, it's not like Sunday was a super tough day. Woods and Jim Furyk were the only golfers in the field on Sunday who didn't make a birdie all day.

Here's a look at Woods' scorecard:

On a day when you really thought Woods, who was playing in the second-to-last group, could make some noise at the second WGC event of the season, he took himself out of it from the beginning.

Woods also completed just his ninth round ever on the PGA Tour without a birdie and his first ever in a final round.

There's just nothing there at times. Even when he didn't have his stuff (or his "feels" as he calls them) in the past you could still expect a grind towards something around par. Now, where there used to be feverish rounds around par, there's emptiness.

His back seemed to flare up around the middle of his round on Sunday but he was playing poorly long before that. He said he never considered withdrawing from the tournament.

The question now, as it's been for the last few weeks, is what should we expect from him as the season turns towards Augusta.

The answer, if you've been paying attention this year is complete and utter unpredicatibility.
