John Senden and John Daly highlight a weird week in golf

It was a slow week in golf but we already expected that. The Florida swing is great but the Valspar Championship is definitely the least enticing of the four tournaments. Here's everything you missed.

Top three stories

1. That final round in Tampa: Was the Valspar Championship the least memorable tournament of the season so far? My top three: 1. Valspar Championship, 2. Sony Open, 3. Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

2. John Daly's 90: You know it was a slow week if Daly's 90 was one of the three biggest stories. How much longer will he get exemptions? And has there ever been a bigger disparity between talent and appeal in sports history?

3. John Senden increases Masters field: It was honestly probably a bigger story that the Masters field increased (to 94) than how it was increased (by Senden winning the Valspar Championship).

Valspar Championship (PGA Tour): John Senden

Trophee Hassan II (European Tour): Alejandro Canizares

Best shot I

This Harris English chip was pretty great.

Best shot II

I think Padraig Harrington was surprised this went in.

Wonkiest scorecard

Oh, John Daly. Oh my.

Tiger Update

Tiger Woods didn't play this weekend. Nobody did, really. It's sort of a tough spot for the Valspar Championship, being situatuated between the Honda Classic, Cadillac Championship, and Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Biggest distraction

Kevin Na continues to polarize folks on the tour. Robert Garrigus' caddie Brent Henley had some choice words for Na after his guy played with Na on both Saturday and Sunday.

"It ain't fair playing with Kevin Na. It ain't fair."

This week in OWGR

No change in the top 10 (told you this week was boring). Victor Dubuisson enters the top 25. Matteo Manassero enters the top 50. John Senden goes from No. 123 to No. 60. Kevin Na goes from No. 175 to No. 80.

Winner gets ...

John Senden gets $1.03 million for taking the Valspar Championship. Alejandro Canizares gets $347,200 for winning the Trophee Hassan II.

Worst shot

Oh, Justin Rose. This is really bad. I mean, did it even go 50 yards?

Best fight

You thought Tiger and Sergio was chilly...

Best gun show

Scott Langley has clearly been working out with Tiger Woods.

Best trophy

You literally hold the dagger when you win the Trophee Hassan in Europe.

This paintbrush from Valspar is a sight to behold.
