The Masters is just around the corner (10 days, to be exact) and we're pretty excited. There's plenty of golf to be played between now and then but we also want to keep you informed about what's going on with Augusta.

The Masters starts next week and it doesn't really feel like we have a true favorite, does it? Of course Tiger Woods will be near the top but he's hurt. So is Phil Mickelson and Jason Day and Bubba Watson aren't exactly feeling that great, either.

Adam Scott just blew Bay Hill and it feels like Rory McIlroy hasn't played a tournament in three months. There's just not a ton of fighting atop the world rankings. More like bowing out and telling everyone else "good luck."

But McIlroy is the favorite to win the Masters this season even if it feels a little like a default. Here's a look (January odds in parentheses):

Favorite

Rory McIlroy: 7-1 (10-1)

Other favorites

Tiger Woods: 9-1 (5-1)
Adam Scott: 10-1 (14-1)
Phil Mickelson: 12-1 (12-1)
Dustin Johnson: 16-1 (28-1)
Jason Day: 16-1 (25-1)

Fringe favorites

Bubba Watson: 20-1 (50-1)
Henrik Stenson: 20-1 (14-1)
Justin Rose: 25-1 (22-1)
Matt Kuchar: 25-1 (40-1)
Zach Johnson: 25-1 (50-1)
Jordan Spieth: 28-1 (40-1)

Everyone else

Brandt Snedeker: 33-1 (33-1)
Charl Schwartzel: 33-1 (33-1)
Keegan Bradley: 33-1 (40-1)
Sergio Garcia: 33-1 (40-1)
Hunter Mahan: 40-1 (50-1)
Lee Westwood: 40-1 (33-1)
Patrick Reed: 40-1 (N/A)

Hope you jumped on Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, and the Johnson brothers early as their stock has risen and their odds fallen since January. Same for Kuchar and Spieth. I can't find what Reed's odds were in January, I'm not even sure any action was being taken on him.

I'm probably going to pick McIlroy to win it -- because I'm boring -- but Snedeker and Garcia at 33-1 are tempting. So is Westwood at 40-1 (he's better at this tournament than you think).

Day's thumb injury scares me and the way Stenson has been playing does, too.

We'll keep you updated over the next 10 days to see which direction these odds head.
