What is it?
The new Bushnell Pro X7 Jolt laser rangefinder is a great accessory to have on your bag for weekend rounds. I really like how easy it is to use and quickly you can get an accurate reading on what club to hit.
There's one button to press and one direction to point the thing. That'll play for everyone from me to your grandfather who stares at an iPhone like it was invented on another planet.
How does it work?
It might be better if I let these guys explain:
Why do you need it?
Bushnell says the rangefinder "provides yardage five times faster and more accurately than ever before."
That's important to me because I'm not trying to be "that guy" holding up the three foursomes behind me.
And it really is an improvement over Bushnell's former products -- which were also great. The X7 Jolt is definitely on another level.
How much is it?
The Pro X7 Jolt is $499 and legal for tournament play or the Pro X7 Jolt Slope is $599 (you can measure distance up and downhill).
If you can swing the cash it's a solid purchase. I never play a round without mine. You'll be hooked in a hurry. You can purchase here, by the way.
