In a recent anonymous poll of PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour players conducted by, 81 percent of PGA Tour players said they think there are gay players on the PGA Tour.

Here's a look at the survey results.

The comments (also anonymous) were equally fascinating:

"I choose not to believe so."
"I have lots of suspects."
"If there are, I would support them."

You know golf's day is coming -- whether it's next week or next decade -- when a player comes out as gay, and it will be interesting to see how players on the PGA Tour respond.

"I choose not to believe so" doesn't inspire much confidence.

There were a few other interesting poll results on the survey including a question to LPGA golfers about Adam Scott, Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth (predictable results).

There was also a question to LPGA players about whether they would watch an LPGA event on TV over a PGA event. Only 30 percent chose the LPGA event, so that's probably not good.

The most disheartening of all was a question about reading in which 60 percent of PGA Tour golfers said they read three or fewer books last year. Three or fewer!

The survey was conducted with 200 pros. You should go check out the rest.
