You saw the selfie Bubba Watson took at Waffle House after he won the Masters, but you might not know the story behind it.

Rick Reilly is retiring his ESPN column soon and in doing so it looks like he's emptying his notebooks. Like, all of them.

He recently wrote a column about how tipping reveals what kind of person you are and...ok...maybe, but the real news is that he has a great Watson story.

"After Bubba Watson won the Masters in April, he went to Waffle House and left a $148 tip. Now, unless his bill was $1,000 -- and the mind fries thinking how you could order $1,000 worth of Waffle House -- that tip was bigger than a Bubba drive."

Pretty cool.

Reilly went on to talk about Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson and their tipping habits and eventually ended up dropping this jewel of a line on Mickelson.

"Phil Mickelson tips like he has no heirs. Anytime he sees kids holding a lemonade stand, he buys a 50-cent cup with a $100 bill and walks away. He routinely gives car valets a Benjamin just for bringing his car around."

He had less-than-glowing things to say about Woods. That Mickelson line, though, that's pretty great.
