The first tournament of a mini two-tournament Texas swing is the Byron Nelson Championship. We've also entered the month-long stretch of time between the Players Championship and US Open.

The Byron Nelson Championship is played in Irving, Tex. at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas. It has been at this course since 1994 and (did you know time) this tournament is the leading fundraiser for charity on the PGA Tour.

The tournament will take place May 15-18 and the purse is a hearty $6.8 million. You can watch on Thursday and Friday (May 15-16) on Golf Channel from 3-6 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 1-2:30 PM on Golf Channel and from 3-6 PM on CBS.

You can also watch the broadcast online at CBSSports.com on Saturday and Sunday from 3-6 PM.

Expert picks

Marc Leishman (33-1): His last five starts here have yielded four top 12s and a missed cut. I'll take my chances with that. This has absolutely nothing to do with Leishman and his performance but an Australian has won this tournament twice in the last six years, too.So this place has been kind to Aussies.

It would be fitting if Leishman took home the title on the same day his fellow countryman (Adam Scott) soared to No. 1 in the world.

Lock for top 10

Keegan Bradley (20-1): He nearly won this tournament for the second time in three seasons in 2013. I watched him on the range for a long time last year and it's clear he feels comfortable at this course, in this setting. I'd be stunned if he wasn't mixing it up on the weekend here.

Brandt Snedeker (50-1): How is Brandt Snedeker 50-1?! I mean, I know he hasn't been elite this year but that number is far too high for a quality guy like him. You can have the one top 10 all season and I'll take my 50-1 number to the house.
