The 2014 US Open is in the books which means all eyes turn to the Royal Liverpool Golf Club for the forthcoming British Open which is just five weeks away.

Will Tiger Woods be back? It's doubtful, but he's still one of the favorites to win this year's British Open, just like he did at this same course back in 2006.

Here's a look at your top favorites to win this year.

Odds to win 2014 British Open
Tiger Woods7-1
Rory McIlroy10-1
Adam Scott12-1
Martin Kaymer16-1
Phil Mickelson18-1
Henrik Stenson20-1
Justin Rose20-1
Jason Day25-1
Jordan Spieth25-1
Lee Westwood25-1
Sergio Garcia25-1
Graeme McDowell28-1
Bubba Watson33-1
Charl Schwartzel33-1
Dustin Johnson33-1
Ian Poulter33-1
Luke Donald33-1
Matt Kuchar33-1

If you like lighting money on fire then go ahead and bet Woods. Your best bet if you put coin on him is that he doesn't play because if he does, he's not winning. That he's still the 7-1 favorite speaks to how much parity exists in the sport today.

Of the guys on this list I like Day at 25-1 and Johnson at 33-1. Both played tremendously at Pinehurst and both have been competitive at British Opens in the past.

Also, it's pretty hard to pick against Kaymer right now, though if he were to win the Players, the US Open, and the British Open we would be talking about one of the all-time elite golfing years. I don't see that happening, but stranger things certainly have.
