The youngest golfer to ever play in a US Open (men's or women's), 11-year-old Lucy Li, is setting Pinehurst No. 2 on fire just a week after Martin Kaymer tried to burn it down.

I mean, watch that press conference above -- she is 11 years old! That's 4,000 days (and change) on the planet and she acts like she's a seasoned veteran.

Her best response to a question was when she was asked if her father could beat her at golf.

"Hahahahaha...hahahahaha....hahahahah....no....hahahaha."

Awesome.

Here she is teeing off on No. 10 on Thursday in the first round.

I'm intrigued to see what Li shoots this week compared to what Lexi Thompson and Morgan Pressel, both of whom played in this event under the age of 14, shot.

Either way, though, she's there to learn and have some fun.

"I just want to go out there and have fun and play the best I can, and I really don't care about the outcome," she said. "It's just, I want to have fun and learn. I want to learn a lot from these great players."

Plus, she already won this week. Big time.
