Tiger Woods spoke at the opening ceremony for the Quicken Loans National on Wednesday and his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn was by his side.
The tournament benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation and the ceremony looked like a cool amalgamation of war veterans, golf fans, and patriotism.
Tiger looks quite solemn in the photo above -- lighten up, Tiger -- but he did give a Wounded Warrior the opportunity to sink a birdie putt for him on No. 17.
"That was cool," said Woods. "That was really cool. He's been here a couple times as honorary starter. He's going to be here on Sunday. Tomorrow afternoon I won't see him unfortunately, but he does a great job on the first tee. Put it this way; he'll get your attention, which is great."
There we go, Tiger, that's better.
