Michelle Wie won the US Women's Open last week and then received the best gift a golfer could possibly receive.

Not a green jacket or a monstrous trophy or even a trophy you can drink out of (though you can). Nope, she received flowers from Happy Gilmore.

"'I feel like that's the biggest prize in golf, getting flowers from Happy Gilmore," Wie said in her pretournament news conference Thursday at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in Rogers, Ark.

Wie and Sandler played together in Hawaii when Wie was a teenager. She also said she was glad to be done with her tour of New York and all the media that goes along with winning a US Women's Open.

"I don't know how people in show business do it," she said. "I was just so happy to get on a plane for Arkansas so I could just play some golf already."
