I have to admit, I'm sort of fascinated by Jason Dufner.

From the gorgeous wife to the world-class ball-striking, to the friendship with Kevin Durant, he is the unlikeliest of American sports heroes.

And yet here he is -- playing on Ryder Cup teams, winning PGA Championships, and partying like a true American on the Fourth of July.

The Duf was recently profiled by Golf Digest (it's awesome) and in it he talked about what Russian weightlifters (yes) have taught him about his game.

"I'm a strong believer in visualization and read a great book once that explained the techniques of Russian weightlifters, who are very good at it. But here's the thing: Can we get to the point where we can will the déjà vu moments to happen, instead of just hoping they will? Maybe. That's one of the mystical things about golf that keep us coming back."

Not something you would expect from Dufner, is it?

There's a ton of other stuff in the piece that you wouldn't expect either. Like the time he lost $7,500 when a promoter took his tournament entry fee, his obsession with Ben Hogan, and his thoughts on ghosts.

Go give it a read.
