Rory McIlroy is off to a great start at the 2014 British Open but now he has to shut things down and that's not as easy as McIlroy has probably made it seem over the first two days of the tournament.
He has some big names on his heels and some folks who will surely be gunning for every pin, especially the par 5s.
Here are the reset odds after 36 holes for the tournament.
Rory McIlroy: 2-3
A huge number for somebody who looks like he's in total control. I'd be more surprised if he blew it than if he won by 10.
Dustin Johnson: 6-1
Sergio Garcia: 16-1
Rickie Fowler: 18-1
Best bet here is Sergio at 16-1. Not saying DJ can't do it but I like Sergio's number better and he has more history here (albeit not great history).
Adam Scott: 25-1
Charl Schwartzel: 25-1
Louis Oosthuizen: 25-1
Francesco Molinari: 28-1
Ryan Moore: 28-1
Jim Furyk: 40-1
Justin Rose: 50-1
Jimmy Walker: 80-1
George Coetzee: 80-1
Robert Karlsson: 80-1
I like Scott at 25-1 even though he's nine back and Walker at 80-1. Actually I love Walker at 80-1. He could play the par 5s in 6 under on Saturday and shoot something bonkers.
Probably won't happen but worth the flyer.
