This tournament is all but over but that doesn't mean we aren't in for some fun on Sunday afternoon from Hoylake.

Here are six things I'll be watching for during the final round of the 2014 British Open.

1. Either way, history: Either Rory McIlroy becomes the third golfer to win three of four grand slams by age 25 (Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus!) or he becomes the first golfer to ever blow a six-shot lead at the Open.

There's nothing in between those two.

Also, this would be insane:

2. Rickie Fowler, top five? Fowler is trying to join this list:

That's a big deal and would likely solidify him not only as a member of the Ryder Cup but possibly as one of its bigger stars.

3. Tiger's finish: This one is sort of mean-spirited but Tiger Woods' worst finish at a major in which he made the cut is in danger on Sunday. Right now that number is 40th and Woods is T58 after three rounds so, yeah, it's on the table. Especially with the way he's playing the first nine this week.

4. Scoring record: All of the scoring records might fall on Sunday if McIlroy goes super low. Nobody has ever shot 20 under or better at a major and only Tiger has reached 19 under at this tournament. McIlroy is 16 under after three rounds.

He's also trying to join this list:

5. Tour Sauce: This is a reference to acting as much like the best dang golfer on the planet as much as possible. With a blowout on the horizon I'll be looking for it as much as I'll be looking for anything on Sunday.

Stuff like club twirls and struts (you, Rory) and well, this:

6. Backdoor top 10s: Where do I bet all of my money on a Graeme McDowell-Justin Rose parlay top 10 finish?

They're both sitting just outside the top 10 after a 68 and 69 respectively on Saturday and poised to finish strong even though they have zero chance of winning the thing.

Also, this isn't a storyline but this photo is everything:
