But then things got weird on the second hole.
It started when Jason Day yanked his ball into a creek up the second fairway and David Feherty and Day's caddie went across the creek to find it.
Then Day himself rolled up his trousers and got into the mix.
His caddie tossed him a club and he whacked it out, and saved par in the process.
